With this blogcasting system, your social networks are informed of your blog as and when you publish them. What this means is the potential reach is into the millions.  

For example, If I subscribe to your blog and have 20,000 followers across all my social media accounts, and you have 15,000 subscribers each with a similar following, your blogs have now been potentially seen by around 300,000,000 people.  The New Main Page Interface Explained

The following images are a basic mockup or draft, subject to enhancements, to give you an idea of how the new main page will look with the various news feeds and menus. It is definitely something to look forward to upon its integration.

The format is horizontal, not vertical, like many other websites making it more readable and less time-consuming in terms of navigation. The vertical side menus will be removed, along with the busy text in the blue bar. 

At the top of the main page are the Super Banners. This is prime real estate and specifically for Markethive, the company. Anyone else inside or outside of Markethive wanting to place a banner there will pay top dollar. The real estate below the blue bar is for the markethive community and placement of their banners.

Multiple Pulldown Menus 

Multiple pull-down menus will be replacing the side menus on the main news feed page and the profile page. These are now accessible on one page on the blue bar under Settings, Shopping Cart, and the Notifications bell icon also named Alerts Control. This allows you to configure the blue alerts bar and provides a click menu navigation. In other words, you choose what icons you would like to display. 

All the settings displayed that could only be accessed on the left of the profile page are now accessed on the main interface, including general profile page settings, payments, Vault, ILP purchases, login account, social accounts, and hive ranking. This makes it a lot easier to navigate and is much more intuitive. 

There is also a pull-down menu under Shopping Cart that displays the status of your cart (whether it’s empty or has items pending in it). 

The shopping cart menu takes you to the Markethive store and the Advertising services strictly for the Markethive Press Release program, the Boost, social network broadcasting, digital banner advertising, and video advertising. You will find these services in this pull-down menu as they are introduced. 

A series of upgrades will also be displayed under the shopping cart. Currently, there is the E1 upgrade and upcoming Premium Upgrade to be integrated upon the launch of our internal wallet. There will ultimately be multiple levels of premium upgrades which will all be located in the shopping cart pull-down menu.

Combined News Feed - The New Innovation

Now for the pièce de résistance and Markethive’s claim to fame. The combined news feed interface is a first in the social media environment. It includes the four primary feeds being the general Newsfeed, Blog, Video, and Curation feed. 

So what’s the big deal about a news feed?

The news feed is the heart and lungs of Markethive, and everything around it is the bones or structure of Markethive. It all starts at the center, being the newsfeeds and works outwards and is the dashboard or control center, where every aspect of Markethive is easily accessible. 

The combined pulldown menu also includes the Groups feed, Campaigns, Games, Store, and Email feed, which you can set algorithmically. You choose what and who you want to see in your combined news feed. 

You can choose only to see what you’ve posted, select by geo-location, friends, Tube feed, Blog feed, Group feed, etc. You can access these configuration tools in the tray just above the HTML editor, housing the stats tools, tracking devices, posting tools, sorting and filtering tools, editing, and upload tools.

Upgraded associates will be able to post in a news feed with the ability to stylize text (bold, italics, text size, font type, hyperlinks) add embed videos and images, similar to the current blog editor. This will make your posts more dynamic and exciting.

Whatever task you do, you will access it from the combined feed pull-down menu. For example, if you want to upload a video in the Tube Feed, it will open up the tool page for you to upload it. 

You do not leave the main page for any task you perform. This is where you access all your interfaces. E.g., The video upload interface, the blogging platform, the curation control panel, etc. You will be able to add, edit and monitor everything you do right from the main page. 

Whatever you choose to see in your combined feed will be displayed: Videos from the Tube Feed, Blogs, Capture Pages, Groups feed, General postings, everything will be displayed on the page.

The Beauty Of Markethive 

Everything is at your fingertips on this one page, making it very intuitive and mobile-friendly. The dynamics will change completely, and you won’t have to navigate individual pages within the Markethive system. All configuration, filtering, and searching are done from the combined news feed interface. 

The new interface will be instantaneous and straightforward to post any content remotely, whether blogs, videos, or general newsfeed posts. Markethive will be infiltrating every corner of the internet universe and become a household name.  

The whole interface is streamlined and purposely created horizontally with minimal to no advertising, so it is not overwhelming for the average and new user. So many websites, blogs, and digital media articles are cluttered with vertical side columns and advertisements, making it annoying and virtually impossible to read or comment on the site. 

Markethive has always been a pioneer and ahead of the curve, initiating a social network before social media became a thing, starting with Veretekk in the nineties. It is a Divine inspiration, a vision that is coming to light. It’s one of integrity and can command authority with its clean, polished new look and navigation.

Wallet In Final Draft Mode

The Markethive web wallet is in the final draft mode and has various functionalities. It’s currently being built on Ethereum and is a mechanism that has been developed from scratch to service the needs of the community. This is Markethive’s internal wallet, with the end goal of a wallet app accessible from your smartphone (external wallet) that includes built-in messaging, news feeds, e-commerce, and security measures. 

Notably, active Entrepreneur One members will be the first phase of receiving the initial internal wallet upon release. It’s also important to note that the Entrepreneur One membership will no longer be available when the wallet launches.

The Vault Has A New Home

Apart from documenting your reports, history, balances, and transfers of HVC, ETH, and other top altcoins, the Markethive wallet will display a live chart tracking the progress of the HVC value in real-time. Your HiveCoin balance total is shown, including the HVC you have staked, which means what you have deposited into the Vault and rewards you with additional HVC also displayed, thereby increasing your portfolio. 

The wallet also houses the Vault, which displays your Markethive Credits, subscriptions, and statements. The Vault, already in operation within the Markethive back office, is where you currently purchase Markethive Credits to pay for your subscriptions and various services; however, all the functions of the Vault are being upgraded and are accessible in the wallet, so it’s fundamentally a comprehensive economic center for the Hive.

What Are Markethive Credits?

A Markethive Credit is similar to a stable coin and is what generates all of the activity. One Markethive Credit = $1usd. These credits can be purchased through the Vault section of the wallet via Bitcoin, Ethereum, credit/debit card, or Paypal.  

You can pay for anything through the Vault such as the Banner Advertising Impressions, the Boost, Press Releases, and Sponsored Articles, gaming activities, and more as these services are implemented and introduced into the Markethive system.
Your Vault credit can be used to buy ILPs and future upgrades that will unlock extra services and incentives. These will follow once the wallet is launched. 

 

Better Than A Bank Account

Utilizing the Vault by having an ongoing threshold balance of Markethive Credits can be very lucrative. In other words, keeping a certain amount in the Vault above your monthly commitments (subscriptions) that are debited will award you compound interest paid in HVC of up to 5% and deposited directly into your CoinClip or Wallet. 

 

How Is the Interest Calculated?

Markethive releases coins into the market, in contrast to mining, via Airdrops, Bounties, Faucets, or Micropayments. Keeping a designated threshold of Markethive credits in the Vault is a form of staking. Staking generates interest, meaning you are paid additional HVC based on how many coins you hold and your other activities in Markethive.

Your Hive Rank score adds to your daily interest and can be a significant multiplier. Your CoinClip Score is determined by the spread of earned and current balance of HVC. Essentially, if you send coins out of the system, you lower your score for staking. If you bring coins into the system, you increase your score. 

ILPs count as coins, so buying ILPs can significantly increase your staking rewards. Upgrading your membership adds to your staking interest, and logging in every day is rewarded with an additional interest increase.

Transferring any chosen amount of HiveCoin, HVC, from your wallet into the Vault for a set time period (e.g., 30 days) will earn interest also. Essentially, you are staking those delegated coins, and the higher the balance of staked coins, the more interest earned. You can choose to keep it in the vault and accumulate or transfer it to your wallet for transactional purposes.

What Is Staking In The World Of Crypto? 

Staking is a way to put your crypto to work and earn rewards on it. Staking in general crypto terms is how many of the cryptocurrency blockchain projects verify their transactions, allowing participants to earn rewards on their holdings. 

Staking simply stands for holding a delegated amount of cryptocurrency in your wallet for a fixed period and is integral to the Proof of Stake protocol and a way of supporting the blockchain of a cryptocurrency in which you’ve invested.

Staking is available with cryptocurrencies that use the proof-of-stake model to process payments. This is a more energy-efficient alternative to the proof-of-work model, which requires mining devices that use computing power to solve mathematical equations.

 

Staking - The Markethive Way

In the case of the Markethive, the Vault section of your wallet is where you can stake the coins you hold and is an easy and passive way to earn income. The rewards and interest that one gains from staking vary depending on the length of the time, the amount of HVC staked, and Hive Ranking. 

Because Markethive includes the Markethive Credit threshold balance in its staking protocol, it would be advantageous for you to keep it above the threshold along with an increasing Hive Rank enabling you to earn the maximum amount of interest. The Vault will notify you if you go below the threshold. 

By buying or earning HiveCoin and banking it in the Vault, you are essentially burning the coin, and it is a good thing, as explained in this article on how Markethive creates coin velocity. There are many ways to burn crypto coins which is advantageous to the wealth and health of the currency. 

In this instance, to burn the HiveCoin means pulling the coin out of the marketplace and staking or holding it in the Vault, so there’s less supply. The less supply, the greater the demand, which in turn increases the price of the coin. 

So there are three types of currency in Markethive. The HiveCoin, (HVC), the ILP Tokens, and the Markethive Credits. And remember that the Markethive Credits are always equivalent to $1usd of which you buy products and services. Keep in mind the more you use the vault, the higher the interest rate. The more you use the system, the higher the interest rate. 

The four facets scored for stake interest are Hive Rank, Coin Clip score, Loyalty Level, and Attendance Bonus as illustrated in the schematic below. Also, total interest is paid on both your vault balance and coin clip, or wallet balance, and the interest on this combined total is paid at the end of each month.

“The wallet is in its final draft and design. How long this can take is still to be determined, but we already have a working wallet. When the interface is completed, then we will announce the wallet to be released. I don’t easily get excited, but this has me rather anxious as this is a major milestone of the many milestones we have reached.”

 

Meanwhile, Two New Systems Implemented 

Two other vital upgrades were accomplished this week: 

1. New registration and login system. 
2. Markethive support ticket portal. 

Markethive’s registration and login system is now owned and operated by Markethive. This is important as we now do not have to rely or depend upon 3rd parties such as Oneall Login API Services. 

You choose which email networks you would like to log in with, and the ability to log in with your domain email will be integrated. When logging in with the new system for the first time, enter your email or username. The system will recognize you have an account and send an email with a link to log in initially.

Once logged in, go to Login Networks in your settings and add the other networks displayed. There will be more added as we move forward. 

The social networks you have linked to your Markethive account are now for remote broadcasting only with the added advantage of the bounty program that is in the works. This means you will be rewarded for registering all your separate accounts through the Markethive platform and by subscribing and following the many Markethive social media accounts will qualify you for the Infinity Bounty Program. 

Markethive Ticket Support is now active. This system enhances personalization, keeps records and information on all tickets you generate. You can upload documents and prioritize your queries, streamlining the support process. 

Ticket support can be found at the far right on the blue bar on the Home page. Fine-tuning to this system is still required, so your feedback when using the ticket support will be much appreciated. 

Now, our Telegram Support Channel can become a support for the Markethive community. It will be a place where people can ask questions or seek assistance from other Markethive associates about anything they may need help with—Eg., uploading a video, etc.

We live in an increasingly interconnected world with 4.66 billion people connected via the internet. We pay each other, share data, and communicate with each other within seconds. This is all seemingly wonderful, but the truth is we are not connected with each other.  Instead, we are connected to centralized multinational companies and data merchants we are forced to trust with everything we do.

It’s a scary reality that most people are living in today; however, decentralization is the future. The transition from centralized platforms to decentralized ones is going to be the most profound and disruptive change we’ll ever see in our lives.

 

What Is Decentralization?

In short, it is the transfer of control and decision-making from a centralized entity, an individual, organization, government, or company to a distributed network. Decentralized networks reduce the level of trust that people have to place in each other and significantly reduce the ability of any centralized entity to exert authority or control over that Network.

One of the most well-known examples of decentralization is cryptocurrency. This feature is the key reason why it's so valued amongst the crypto community and tech Geeks. No single entity can stop you from transferring Bitcoin to another person. 

However, there are numerous examples of people who have had their bank accounts shut down because they bought Bitcoin. So it seems any given bank can dictate what its customers can or cannot do with their money. 

Earlier this year, HSBC in the UK is just one example of a centralized entity banning all crypto transactions using their debit or credit cards. They did it because they can and obviously don’t like crypto. That, in a nutshell, is the problem with centralization and demonstrates how easy it is to ban, confiscate, and shut off those systems at will. 

 

No Longer A Luxury But A Utility 

The internet plays a massive role in our lives today, with a vast majority tapped into social media platforms. Facebook currently has 2.6 billion users who seem to be oblivious to its dictatorial and underlying agendas. Also, buying goods and services online has become commonplace and a preferred option in many cases, which is a bit of a worry in such centralized environments. 

Centralized social media platforms are fundamentally gilded cages controlled by a CEO not only heavily incentivized to generate stellar earning reports for its shareholders but wields a judgemental partisan approach limiting free speech and liberties of the users’. 

For years now, the tech giants have been data harvesting our personal details. They are notorious for de-platforming anyone who doesn’t agree or is not compliant with their overzealous ruling. So, essentially we have lost access to content and have no control over our data or how it’s used, which could endanger many people’s lives and privacy. 

Our data is controlled by these data barons, which is very much a security and privacy concern. One of the biggest data barons of them all is Equifax, and in 2017, they suffered one of the most significant data breaches ever. Hackers stole the personal information of 143 million U.S. customers that included data, like Social Security numbers, dates of birth, addresses, and in some cases, driving licenses. 

All the information needed to commit identity fraud and is one of the most egregious frauds in existence. The fraudsters can acquire a credit card in the name of a stolen identity and destroy their credit rating. 

The fact that centralized businesses own the algorithmic black box is kind of creepy, and for some people, it could lead to harassment, stalking and could actually be a matter of life or death. 

All that is particularly significant when we consider that we're living in an age where personal data can be weaponized against people. Are these platforms now so big that they are utility and not a luxury that can be just switched off at their discretion?

 

Internet Centralization Runs Deep

Internet centralization runs very deep with the likes of internet tech giants such as Amazon Web Services, Alibaba, Microsoft, etc. AWS alone hosts over 9 million websites that they can virtually “play God” with and have done earlier this year by withdrawing its services and support from an upcoming alternative platform promoting free speech. Under the guise of violating AWS terms of service, it is arguably a politicized judgment call that can incapacitate companies and their users, their right to communicate their beliefs.  

Of course, there’s the issue of outages where it was touted that AWS in North Virginia temporarily “broke the internet,” affecting Downtector.com, impacting websites, cloud storage, encryption, and content delivery, leaving many in a spin, some thought the end was coming.

To illustrate another critical flaw with a centralized internet is that so-called authorities could censor the internet or suppress democratic protests by switching off the internet in their country. It has actually happened in Egypt during the Arab Spring protests in 2011 and was used more recently during the military coup in Myanmar in February this year. 

 

The Dawn Of Web 3

What we are experiencing is all part of Web 2 and defined as the majority of today’s most-used internet platforms are controlled by only a handful of powerful companies, which profit from the data users generate. The next phase of the internet is one in which the users’ take back control from the centralized corporations. 

Known as Web 3, it’s a decentralized version of the internet and essentially a way for individuals to use it without giving up their privacy and valuable data. With the utilization of Blockchain technology, no single entity can gain control as the network is distributed across many different nodes.  

Also, money is native to the internet, so instead of relying on traditional financial infrastructures like banks and all the restrictions that come with them, people can transact quickly globally and in a permissionless manner via cryptocurrencies. 

 

Decentralized Social Media Emerging

A few companies are working hard to make Web 3 a reality. A pioneer in the social media and marketing realm is Markethive. The company has successfully bypassed the centralized web services, like AWS and Microsoft, and operates on their own cloud system. Markethive is working on expanding its clouds, called Mining Hives, throughout the world.

This means all data pertaining to Markethive and its users will not be stored on servers owned and controlled by a centralized entity. Instead, it is a distributed database on the Markethive  Blockchain with no single point of failure and no internet disruption or censoring by the likes of dictatorial authorities who may decide to shut off the internet. 

With the recent news of the U.S. Senate’s proposal to onerously regulate the crypto industry, which will stifle the United States, the importance of decentralization has escalated. It shows that the government views crypto as a real threat and, of course, another way to refill its coffers. This bombshell has the crypto industry in an uproar, with U.S. companies moving offshore to more crypto-friendly countries. 

To protect all Markethive associates and continue to build the entrepreneurial ecosystem to bring financial and self-sovereignty, Markethive is in the process of building a new offshore corporation for launching its decentralized exchange (DEX) and wallet. This Web 3 development is an inspiring and timely milestone that should be ready by September this year. 

It is a Godsend and a blessing to have a social media and inbound marketing platform empower its community, integrating Blockchain and cryptocurrency in a decentralized environment to circumvent the ‘powers that be” in this ever-darkening world.
